Are you a young Islander aged 14-25 and interested in campaigning for change for young people?

Every young person is welcome to join the Taskforce. It is a great way of improving confidence and self-esteem. By volunteering you will enhance your CV and the experience gained can also be used to help achieve Duke of Edinburgh awards.

The Taskforce meets in Newport at the Youth Trust Offices at least once a month, on a weekday evening. At Taskforce meetings we talk about issues facing young Islanders and explore ways of creating positive change for young Islanders – as well as eating pizza!

If you are interested in becoming a member of the Taskforce please complete this form to register your interest or email taskforce@iowyouthtrust.co.uk to find out more.

If you are 18+ and would like to volunteer for the Youth Trust, please go to our Volunteer page to find out more. We have opportunities across a wide variety of roles.

Sorry, we are currently closed to applications for Counselling student placements. Please check again in early 2025. In the meantime, if you would like to gain experience of the Youth Trust, why not consider volunteering for us.
