Housing Support
Our Youth Housing & Employment Support Worker provides
Information, Advice and Guidance tailored to the unique needs
of young people facing housing instability or homelessness.
Offering emotional support whilst guiding through the best
pathways for their circumstances. They can also provide
tenancy sustainment work to stabilise your tenancy again and
support you to work towards maintaining your tenancy
independently.
Also offering a support package to address the challenges that
contribute to or arise from housing instability or homelessness,
including checking any benefits available are in place.
Supporting young people seeking employment and education
opportunities to overcome any barriers that they are facing
when trying to secure or maintain employment. Offering tailored
support to discover and pursue opportunities.

Guidance
With a focus on practical, meaningful support, our Housing support service can provide you with effective and jargon free support on improving your housing situation.
We recognise that housing can be confusing and challenging for many. Our guidance can make things easier.
Tenancy Sustainment Support
Moving out is only one option and where suitable, practical and possible, we will support you to stabilise your existing living situation.
Signposting To Further Support
Our Housing support offer provides free, impartial information, advice and guidance. As part of this, we will always provide you with the details of other organisations that may be able to help.
Practical Support To Secure Accommodation
We will look at every person’s individual circumstance and provide person centred support to enable access to the most appropriate accommodation. As part of this, we may support acquiring a solution through the following:
- The local authority
- Housing associations
- Supported accommodation providers
- Private landlords and agents
- Family & Friends
Support Around Barriers to Gaining or Maintaining Employment
We recognise that having a stable living environment is crucial and as part of creating a sustainable future for all young people, we will look at the challenges and barriers each person has to make sure that the advice and guidance we provide empowers people to progress and succeed.
1:1 Tailored Employment/Education Support
Every person’s journey to finding meaningful employment is different. As part of our housing support service, all young people are encouraged to consider what they would like their future to look like. Our team will offer personalised employment support to make sure every young person has the best possible chance of reaching their potential.
Group Information Sessions
All of our support is available through both one to one and group-based interactions. Group sessions offer the chance to learn in a social environment surrounded by those with similar challenges.
